Senior Engineer Drill & Blast

Rosebel Gold Mines is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer , Drill & Blast , to join our mine technical services department. As the Senior Engineer , Drill & Blast , you will provide leadership and functional expertise in support of the open‑pit drilling and blasting operations. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient management of explosives, oversight of the pattern design, production, wall control drilling, and blast initiation processes, as well as other ancillary drilling and blasting operations. You will work closely with the Mine Operations team to ensure that drilling and blasting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the team, as well as developing and implementing new drilling and blasting strategies to improve operational efficiency.
