About the job. National Highways have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lighting Engineer to join our team in the East region. The Senior Lighting Engineer will lead and coordinate the activities and resources involved in the identification of asset needs and development of early solutions for this asset class, whilst assuring adherence to defined asset policies and standards. As a Senior Lighting Engineer, you would be leading on the development and management of our lighting asset. In the East we maintain 9,000 lighting columns, 3,000 lit signs and our own private cable network. This role can be based from our Bedford, Cambridge or our Ipswich office. Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.
