Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is establishing a new engineering hub in Cape Town and is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the technical delivery of global Bulk Material Handling (BMH) solutions for the mining industry. This is a senior, hands‑on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys complex design work, technical ownership, and influencing how a new engineering capability is built.

You will work closely with global engineering teams while acting as a senior technical authority within the Cape Town office, contributing directly to the success of mining projects worldwide.

The Role

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take responsibility for the electrical design, control systems, and power engineering aspects of BMH projects. The role spans PLC‑based control systems and electrical power design , from concept through to delivery and operational support.
