Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Summary

Senior Electrical Engineer – responsible for designing, reviewing, and commissioning electrical systems for water treatment and wastewater projects across the UK. The role includes work on motor control centres, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs, and SCADA systems, spanning both new technology and legacy installations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites.
• Produce and review technical specifications and schedules for procurement, including supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
• Apply and contribute to design standards, with a solid understanding of client and industry requirements.
• Challenge client specifications appropriately and defend solutions to complex problems.
