Senior Electrical Engineer

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Leeds for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer.

The Person

• HNC/HND qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in electrical maintenance and controls within a manufacturing or process environment.
• Degree‑qualified in Electrical, Controls or Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professionally registered (e.g. IEng or CEng), or working towards registration.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, inverters, safety systems and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex electrical faults and implement effective, long‑term solutions.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sufficient to support fault‑finding and cross‑discipline collaboration.
