Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer – Mining Projects (Northern Ontario) Insight Global is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support large-scale mining expansion and brownfield redevelopment projects across Northern Ontario. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex initiatives including open pit and underground operations, mill expansions, and infrastructure upgrades, while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and review of electrical systems, including:

Substations

Mining and processing infrastructure

Support feasibility studies, study-phase engineering, and detailed design packages

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, environmental, operations)

Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder presentations

Provide technical oversight during construction, commissioning, and startup
