Senior Electrical Design Engineer

The role: We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join our Electrical Design Team based in our offices in Newcastle city centre. Working on a variety of exciting and bespoke engineering projects for our Offshore Energy product market group. You will be responsible for: Electrical Design. Specification Writing. Specifying of parts. Costing of Projects. Technical Support to Customers. Inspection and Test / FAT writing. Working on Electrical Department Standardisation and Efficiency Initiatives. Undertake the electrical design of work packs or projects with minimal supervision. Delivery of complex engineering solutions to agreed time scales and budgets. Ability to estimate, forecast, plan and execute to agreed plans. Provide technical support and guidance for commissioning and installation activities. Active engagement in Teams across the business.
