Responsibilities Of The Role

• Adherence to the project & Mercury Engineering Safety Management system
• Adherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation
• Adherence to Mercury Engineering & Client Environmental, Health & Safety Plans
• Assist with the onboarding of Mercury employees & Subcontractors as per Finnish Legislation – ensuring all relevant documentation is in place
• Act as point of contact on site for coordination with local Municipality
• Coordination in the development of task specific Method statements, Risk assessments, Safe plan of action, Permit to work
• Compliance with the project execution plan
• Coordination of project safety indicators
• Good Safety Practices are managed & maintained
• Ongoing COSHH assessments, control of hazardous substances
