Responsibilities
- Work closely with the game design team to design the core resource economy: how players earn, spend, and progress through the game.
- Partner with the product team to define monetization strategy, including offer types, trigger conditions, pricing, and the balance between free and paid progression.
- Build and maintain the economy model (spreadsheet and/or simulation) that ties all systems together, serving as the shared source of truth for design, product, and leadership.
- Calibrate economy pacing across player archetypes to ensure each segment has a satisfying experience while meeting business targets.
- Lead structured competitive benchmarking of top titles in the genre: design play‑test protocols, reverse‑engineer competitor economies, and extract relevant data.
