Senior Designated Accountant

Overview

My client is a central Alberta firm with over 35 years of history working in this area. Our focus is on helping owner‑managed small businesses from start‑up to wind‑down and retirement. We prepare review and compilation engagements for these clients and assist them with all of their corporate and personal tax planning.

We are recruiting a full‑time designated accountant with the possibility of advancement to Manager. The position can be filled by working at either our Red Deer or Innisfail office.

Responsibilities

• Manage various deadlines for files, including bank reporting and tax filing requirements.
• Prepare complex compilation and review engagements.
• Prepare complex corporate and personal tax returns.
• Assist with tax planning.
• Develop working relationships with clients and help them stay compliant with all of their tax filings.
