Senior Design Manager

JOB PURPOSE – Design the products - Dampers, Shock Absorbers, and Seating system assemblies. - Support the other departments in design-related technical matters. - Administration of Design and Prototype team. - Support the manufacturing team in stabilizing the product in mass production. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Study of customer inputs, and conduct product design feasibility. • Work with design engineers on necessary design calculations, and past data analysis, and work with suppliers and manufacturing team to decide on design concept. • Conduct benchmarking Check and release 3D and 2D prepared by design engineers - costing, prototyping, development, and production stages. • Conduct design reviews at appropriate stages, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, Study and define product validation - DVP. • Working out VAVE. • Running and tracking Engineering Change as per defined process.
