BESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Design Manager due to a strong pipeline of projects in Queensland, join our Qld, NT & NZ Construction team. The Senior Design Manager will provide design leadership to the project team and take responsibility for delivering on all project, commercial and time targets with respect to design and documentation outputs.
This role will be responsible for:
Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop design strategies for the construction projects.
Lead and manage project consultants to deliver all aspects of the project design within the construction projects, to ensure that high quality design documentation is issued on time, on budget as well as in compliance with the Project Brief.
Lead the review of the project design for regulatory and building compliance.
Lead and coordinate the submission of final documentation, as constructed drawings, authority approvals, warranties...
