Senior Design Engineer

The Role

:
Design solutions using NX CAD and simulation software for innovation projects for products, systems and solutions, liaising with suppliers on specialist equipment design to support the manufacture of products.

Responsibilities include:
Develop new products with improved performance specifications
Lead development projects in area of expertise
Initiate work, in agreement with staff, to meet the product specification
Ensuring compliance with Product Development protocols e.g. Standards, Company Quality system.
Exchange relevant knowledge across all Technology departments and to manage key interaction between design and suppliers
Conduct or provide technical support for field tests to prove the suitability of designs produced
Keeping up to date with technical developments in the relevant fields


The Candidate:
Designer with a proven record in developing 3D products for industrial design.
