Senior Database Administrator - ICT

We’re currently partnering with a large, complex enterprise environment to engage an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with strong Unix/Linux expertise. This role supports mission-critical platforms and offers the opportunity to work within a highly technical, operationally mature environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Administer, support and optimise Oracle databases in enterprise environments
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and performance tuning
• Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g. RAC, Data Guard)
• Manage and support Unix/Linux operating systems underpinning database platforms
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
