Senior Data Engineer

Our client is one of the largest insurance brokers in the world, working in the Insurance business domain and providing risk management, insurance, and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB
• Proficiency in MS SQL and Databricks
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Advanced skills in T‑SQL, Apache Spark
• Deep knowledge of indexes, execution plans, query optimization, and Python scripting
• Solid understanding of Delta Sharing, Unity Catalog, computing resources, and job orchestration
• Hands‑on experience with data synchronization workflows
• Upper‑Intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements, focusing on performance and availability
