Senior Data Centre Operator (30-38k) / Data Centre Operator (25-28k)

Job Description

(a) Perform 24 x 7 shift duties in data centres;

(b) Operating data center facilities, monitoring their performance, troubleshooting issues, and taking corrective or recovery actions;

(c) Assisting in handling Helpdesk activities, including problem reporting, incident handling, and message dissemination.

(d) Perform access control for visitors of data centre by verifying their authorization in the access control system;

(e) Monitor the physical security in data centre by means of digital video recording system and perform routine physical security checking and take corrective or preventive actions as appropriate;

(f) Monitor the availability and performance of environmental facilities in data centre and take corrective or preventive actions as appropriate in accordance with incident and problem management procedures;
