LegalBMO Financial Group is seeking a full-time lawyer to join the legal team in Toronto as Senior Counsel responsible for providing legal support, with a focus on derivatives, to BMO Global Asset Management’s (BMO GAM) manufacturing of retail and institutional investment products, including the BMO Mutual Funds, BMO Exchange Traded Funds, BMO AM Pooled Funds and alternative products.
You will deliver expert and experienced legal support to BMO GAM’s Canadian business, operations and corporate affairs, with a focus on:
acting as a subject matter expert on relevant laws, regulations and policies relating to listed and OTC derivatives, including options, forward contracts, futures, swaps and other derivatives instruments
drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation, including ISDAs, credit support annexes, account control agreements, broker agreements, onboarding...
