Senior Cost Accountant

Overview

Our client, a global leader in combination drug delivery products , is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their growing team. This role plays a critical part in supporting manufacturing operations through detailed financial analysis and strategic cost management. The Senior Cost Accountant will evaluate manufacturing processes, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency, profitability, and financial performance.

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing cost variances (PPV, labor/overhead absorption, inventory valuation) and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate cost data.
• Lead product costing efforts for new and existing products; develop standard costs and burden rates.
• Prepare reports comparing standard vs. actual production costs; provide profitability analysis.
