Senior Corporate Security Specialist

The Senior Security Specialist acts as a first responder for emergencies, evacuations, and active shooter incidents supporting the Guardian home office location in New York City. It is an armed, on-site position that has daily responsibilities for processing visitors, assisting colleagues, monitoring access control alarms, and cameras, collaborating closely with building security, and conducting building tours.

**You will**

+ Respond to emergencies in an orderly manner using proper training and following all SOPs.
+ Function as first responder in security emergencies, making “on the spot” determinations, of how to respond and determining when an escalated response / potential use of force is required to protect employees.
+ Ability to interact with law enforcement and other emergency responders in a highly effective manner.
