Senior Construction Estimator, Cost Control, Procurement

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator (ECCP). The Senior Estimator is responsible for supporting the project team by participating in multiple aspects of the bid/estimating process, including but not limited to review of plans and specifications, soliciting and negotiating pricing with subcontractors and or suppliers, quantity take-off and pricing. The role is highly collaborative and will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, owners, architects, and engineers. The Senior Estimator must be a flexible and adaptable team player, as well as have strong communication and customer service skills. What will you do: Prepare clear and concise Class 2 and Class 3 cost estimates by utilizing: Internal Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Engineering Scope Internal and external scope developed for all building construction trades Available site descriptions or survey depending upon estimate level Subcontractor cost data obtained for a specific project's location ...
