We are accepting applications for a permanent full-time Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor to join our Communications and Engagement Team. The Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor works on a variety of public engagement, education and communication projects for the Community and Financial Services Branches at the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD).

Reporting to the Manager of Communications and Engagement, the primary responsibilities of the role are:

• Identifying, developing and executing multi-channel communications, education and engagement plans supporting key CVRD initiatives in a cost efficient and effective manner;
• Maintaining strong knowledge and understanding of CVRD’s operations and emerging trends and issues;
