Senior CNC Programmer/Machining Engineer

The Senior CNC Programmer/Machining Engineer role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machining professional to support precision tooling and CNC programming activities. This role focuses on toolroom machine planning, CNC programme development, machining optimisation and technical support for production-related improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthly work for toolroom machines
• Supervise machine technicians and monitor their daily tasks
• Develop CNC programmes for milling, turning and multi-axis machining
• Create wire-cut EDM programmes for precision tooling
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
• Improve machining programmes to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time
• Support troubleshooting activities and work with teams to resolve machining issues
