About The Role

This position is for night shifts, 33 hours per week. The Senior Care Assistant will plan and implement personalized care for residents in dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of care, assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with medication administration and physical/mental stimulation activities, providing accurate record-keeping, building relationships with residents, families and team members, and leading a team of Care Assistants.

We also welcome applicants who are interested in working Bank shifts (zero hour contracts).

Qualifications: Completed Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent, and prepared to progress to Level 3. Experience in person‑centered care planning and dementia care is desirable. Strong positive energy, effective communication, and time‑management skills are essential.
