Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader

As a Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden, Essex, you will provide physical, emotional, and social support to residents, mentor a team of Care Assistants, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding person‑centred care.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support Care Assistants; ensure high standards of care.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager, ancillary teams, registered nurses, and other senior staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities, promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
• Create and maintain person‑centred care plans and risk assessments; conduct regular reviews.
• Administer medication using the electronic e‑MAR system (training provided).
• Work 8 pm–8 am, 48 hours a week, including alternate weekends.
