Senior Care Assistant

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

Contract: £13.71 per hour, 36 hours per week. DBS, pension, uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team to ensure smooth running of the shift and outstanding care delivery.
• Provide hands‑on care and oversee medication administration.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, respond promptly to changes, and maintain safety.
• Keep accurate care records and communicate clearly with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level3 desirable or commitment to work towards.
