DUTIES: Virtual (CAE) tools to design, develop, and validate electric motors and drive units. Engineer propulsion systems for future GM electric vehicles with a focus on durability, efficiency and noise requirements. Responsible for capturing information from a variety of sources inside and outside GM, building and running analytical models, interpreting results and driving design based on virtual assessments. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a HV Battery Simulation Program Lead, Propulsion Virtual Simulation Engineer, or related occupation.
