We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization is currently seeking a Senior Buyer for their Purchasing group. This organization is rapidly growing and the industry leader in their respective product line.

Responsibilities :

• Develop new product sourcing strategies representative of cost, quality and delivery considerations and effectively communicate messaging to internal procurement and cross functional management team.
• Assist management in development of Buyers by offering guidance, advice and expertise in mentoring role.
• Work closely with other functional areas and the manufacturing plants to establish an effective supply base
• Formulate annual business plan for achievement of cost reductions and year over year performance improvement.
