Senior Business Analyst – Stats NZ

Senior Business Analyst role – part of the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI) project at Stats NZ. Fixed‑term secondment opportunities until June 2027.

Role Overview

As a key member of the multidisciplinary IDI team, you will drive the delivery of data integration and analytics solutions by analysing business needs, designing processes, and ensuring robust documentation and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the collection, analysis and dissemination of detailed business information, ensuring outputs are accessible, accurate, and user‑friendly.
• Contribute to project planning by providing expert advice on business analysis activities, artefacts, effort estimates and progress tracking.
