GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

The incumbent displays a high degree of initiative and independent judgement while serving as a senior biomedical equipment and applications expert on project teams to provide expertise and leadership under the general direction of the Principal Investigator of the MD PnP Program (Medical Device Interoperability & Cybersecurity Program). Incumbent develops investigative techniques for novel medical interoperability technologies and establishes methods, procedures, and processes, to assess and assure the safety and performance of interoperable, distributed, medical systems developed in our lab or commercially. Working with clinical collaborators, the incumbent provides input and assistance to the Principal Investigator on definition, development, and execution of research projects in the medical device domain with a focus on Smart and Auto...
