Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner

ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner who has extensive experience in both working with diverse clients with complex needs and staff supervision and mentoring. Key aspects of this role include: 

• Providing Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults with complex disability and psycho-social support needs; complex mental health issues; and trauma based presentations;
• Conducting a range of assessments of a client’s presenting issues and support needs, and identifying appropriate supports, interventions and service models; 
• Designing, developing and implementing intervention plans and strategies;
• Facilitating the delivery of clinical frameworks and activities;
• Providing client support including clinic or home-based sessions, training and resource development; 
• Working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes;
