Job Description

Senior Bakery Scientist
Under limited supervision, this role leads the formula design, validation and implementation of new products, line extensions, product improvements and cost savings initiatives. This role will also serve as technical assistance to the manufacturing sites and supervisor.
Essentials for this Role:
Self-directed, independent contributor applying technical skills in problem resolution and execution of development from bench to production scale for new products and product improvements
Lead higher-level technically complex projects and contribute through cross-functional team to execute (Operations, QA, Procurement, Sales, etc.)
Ability to understand manufacturing processes and their implications on formula development
Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow for flexible interactions with R&D, Operations, Food Safety and Business team members
