Job Description

Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript / Node.js, AWS, Kafka)  

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to work on highly reliable, distributed systems, including migrating legacy C# / .NET services to TypeScript (Node.js). 

Requirements (non-negotiable):  

EU-based 
Immediately available 

What you’ll do:  

Migrate and modernise C# / .NET backend services to TypeScript / Node.js 
Build event-driven systems using Kafka 
Design and operate production systems on AWS 
Own reliability: failure modes, retries, monitoring, resilience 

What we’re looking for:  

Senior backend experience 
Strong TypeScript / Node.js 
Solid AWS experience 
Hands-on Kafka 
C# / .NET background (important for this role)
