Senior Associate / Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Hybrid Data Engineer / Data Scientist to bridge the gap between robust data infrastructure and advanced analytical insights. You will not only build and operate scalable data pipelines on our Azure/Databricks platform but also design, train, and deploy predictive models that enhance operational efficiency in a steel manufacturing environment.

You will work in the GCC in close collaboration with corporate data leadership and plant/industrial IT teams, ensuring standardization, governance, and high operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Pipeline Delivery
• Design and maintain batch and streaming pipelines to ingest and harmonize data from industrial sources (IoT, MES, SAP) into a standardized lakehouse.
• Implement best practices for data structuring using medallion/layered architecture and Delta Lake patterns.
