Senior Applied AI Software Engineer

We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Applied AI Software Engineer to join the Delight engineering team. Delight is a scrappy, founder-led team operating at startup velocity within Simpro.

This is not a maintenance role. You will own backend-heavy production systems and AI-driven workflows from day one, making real architectural decisions with real consequences. You must bring an aggressive ownership mindset, a bias for shipping, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. If you have built something from 0 to 1 and already cannot stop thinking about the next thing you want to build, keep reading.

You will work on AI-first systems that are embedded directly into core product workflows and used by customers every day. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact individual contributor role with direct influence on architecture, technical direction, and long-term system design.
