Role Overview

Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) in the building regulatory system.

• Use evidence and analysis to identify opportunities to improve system performance and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen regulatory stewardship and improve system‑level outcomes.
• Lead and coordinate evaluation activities, managing relationships and contracts with external evaluation providers.
• Build strong relationships across MBIE, government and the wider building sector to support reporting, monitoring and evaluation activity.
