Role Overview

Butler Rose are working with a highly reputable business in the South Lakes to help them find a Senior Finance Officer. This position plays a key role in delivering robust day-to-day financial operations across a multi-entity organisation. The postholder will ensure strong financial control through accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, compliance activity, and support for management reporting and audit preparation.

The role also provides oversight, guidance and quality assurance for work undertaken by junior members of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

• Provide oversight and support to Finance Assistants in processing supplier invoices and managing approval workflows.

• Prepare and process supplier payment runs.

• Maintain and reconcile petty cash across multiple sites.
