Senior Accounting Technician

Our client, a well-established CPA firm in Edmonton, is seeking a Senior Accounting Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced public practice professional with strong exposure to Notice to Reader (NTR) files, Compilation engagements, Review engagements, and tax preparation. The firm is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of relevant public practice experience who can work independently, manage files efficiently, and contribute to a collaborative client-service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Compilation and Notice to Reader engagements for a diverse portfolio of owner-managed and private company clients
• Assist with and prepare working papers and financial statements for Review Engagements
• Complete corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns
• Prepare year-end files, including lead sheets, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
