Senior Accountant

**JOB PURPOSE:**

The Senior Insurance Accountant is responsible for performing complex accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for **Health, Primary General Liability (PGL), and Workers’ Compensation** lines of business. This role ensures accurate GAAP and statutory reporting, compliance with NAIC regulations, and effective coordination with actuarial, underwriting, and claims functions. The position supports organizational goals through strong technical accounting expertise, internal controls, and financial insight.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1. Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP and statutory financial statements in compliance with NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
2. Performs premium accounting functions, including earned/unearned premium calculations, adjustments, and analysis for Health, PGL, and Workers’ Compensation.
