Senior Accountant

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
• Manage weekly and monthly client communications
• Supervise 1-3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness
• Perform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Reconcile tax returns to books and records
• Set up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrations
• Identify and recommend process or technology improvements
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget

• Fluent English or C1 equivalent is required
• 3-5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountants
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero
• Strong understanding of accrual‑basis and GAAP accounting
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting systems
