Senior Accountant

On behalf of a client in the public sector, we are seeking a senior accountant to support and manage core accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and standards.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to leverage technology to improve processes and efficiency.
