SEND Support Worker

Monarch Education is working with a special needs school in Thornbury South Gloucestershire), to recruit full-time Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 5-19 . Start dates are immediately with the view to securing your September 2026, dream job.

The role focuses on supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and PMLD, SEN Needs within both mainstream and SEND Schools in the area . The successful candidate must have relevant SEN experience and be confident supporting pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD, ADHD and PMLD needs
• Support learning activities in line with individual education plans
• Assist with communication, including non-verbal methods where required
• Support pupils with sensory needs and engagement in lessons
• Assist with personal care where needed
