SEND Teaching Assistant

25 hours per week, term time only, permanent contract (plus 5 hours MDSA contract, J grade)

Salary: NJC K scale

The Governors and Head Teacher of Holy Rood Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who can join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of fabulous children and superb staff in a school graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted (May 2022). 

The successful candidate will:

•Have a good general level of education, including Maths and English GCSE grade C or above, or further relevant experience in the absence of formal qualifications

• Have at least 2 years’ experience working as a grade 2 TA or other relevant experience

• NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent

• Have 2 years’ experience of working within the Key Stage One/Early Years curriculum, supporting children with SEN...
