SEND Teaching Assistant The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant , you will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND), including:

• Autism (ASC)
• SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
• ADHD
• Speech and Language Needs
• Moderate & Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)

The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant includes:

• 1:1 SEND support
• Small group intervention
• Classroom-based SEN support
• Support in specialist SEND settings
