Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant (Behaviour-Confident)
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Start: Immediate & ongoing
Mainstream secondary schools across Birmingham are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants with strong behaviour management to support pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in mainstream lessons
- De‑escalating behaviour calmly and confidently
- Helping students access work and stay regulated
- Working closely with teaching staff and SEND teams
Qualifications
- Experience in secondary schools
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour
- A calm, authoritative presence
- Flexibility and resilience
You do not need:
- A teaching qualification
- SEN buzzwords without real experience
