Overview
SEND Teaching Assistant – Daily supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Diss and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs across KS3 and KS4
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Assist with personal care and mobility where required
- Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Ideal candidate
- Experience supporting young people with SEND in a school or care setting
- Confident working across secondary age groups
