SEND Teaching Assistant

Overview

SEND Teaching Assistant Level 3 – To support children with special educational needs. Fixed term, to start 1.9.26 until 31.8.27 initially, with the possibility of extending further subject to need.

35 hours a week, 8.30am-4pm, term-time only

Responsibilities

We are looking to appoint a person who will share our vision for high quality education for all our children and also shows enthusiasm and motivation to:

• Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff and the Special Educational Needs Leader (SENDCO) to:
• Help improve educational and social inclusion opportunities and outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching, senior staff and SENDCO to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils in and outside of the classroom.
