SEND Teaching Assistant

Position Overview

Aspire People are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Newark. This school caters for students in KS1 through KS4 and is looking for a teaching assistant with experience working in the care sector who is interested in utilising their skills within education. The role starts ASAP with a rolling contract, the option to become permanent, and a pay rate of up to £110 per day.

Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday – 8:30 to 15:30
• Long‑term contract with the option of extending or occasional work
• Working one‑to‑one with students
• Co‑working with other assistants and collaborating with the class teacher
• Developing social and cognitive development
• Supported by a senior leadership team
