Teaching Assistant (1:1)

Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy in Alfreton is an inclusive primary school committed to nurturing every child.

This role supports a single named student, helping them to engage fully in school life and achieve the best possible outcomes. The position is a fixed‑term contract of 1 year, renewable subject to funding.

Responsibilities

• Work 32.5 hours per week during Term time.
• Build positive relationships with the student to support academic, social and behavioural development.
• Use experience of supporting young people to improve behaviour and learning.
• Be caring and supportive with a good understanding of the issues her students encounter.
• Maintain excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Evidence of relevant qualifications.
• Reference checks and an enhanced DBS check.
• Medical check and verification of right to work in the UK....
