SEND & SEMH Support Assistant

Rochdale Council is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) within the classroom. This role focuses on helping children access their learning effectively while promoting independence and confidence.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and staff to deliver targeted interventions and maintain a safe, positive learning environment. It is essential to have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above and experience working with children aged 11–16.

This position is term-time only, offering up to 32.5 hours a week with opportunities for professional development.
