SEN Teaching Assistant

We’re searching for motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to join our welcoming primary schools across Wigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children in 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Assist teachers in creating engaging, inclusive lessons
• Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning
• Encourage resilience, social skills, and independence
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment

What we’re looking for:

• Have experience as a SEN TA, classroom TA, youth worker, mentor, or in a care role
• Be patient, adaptable, and committed to student success
• Can build positive relationships with young people
• Have experience supporting primary-aged children
• Be eager to learn and grow in education
• Able to commute across Wigan
• Qualified: TA 2, TA 3, HLTA etc – desirable but no...
